
Breakfast this morning was a two egg french omelet I got the recipe from my all time favorite cookbook Make it Paleo. Its seriously so far a must have cookbook, and much of what I eat is from their website http://beta.primal-palate.com/ or their cookbook. I had this omelet with a couple Tbsp of saurekraut and a cup of black coffee.
I then got all the kids together and dropped the two youngest at Take a Break (an amazing dropin childcare program in our community.) and the boys off at friends place, and then hustled my butt to the gym (I was late) Our warm up was run 1 kilometer and then 30 squat cleans push press with the just the bar. The tech was 5 sets of 5 ring dips. Something I seriously need to work on! Our WOD was "death by pull ups" starting at 1 on every minute doing a pullup then 2-3 -4 etc until failure I completed minute 9 and only got 5 on minute 10 so my rep count was 50 pull ups with the black band. (I am hoping to be doing unassited pull ups by the end of this year.) once we failed we then had to do 100 box jumps on a 20" box for women. For some crazy reason I am terrified of box jumps:( I have been forever, but today I was sick of it! My trainers have had me adding 45lb plates onto a 10" box, well today I did all 100 box jumps on a 20" box!!! I am so proud of this accomplishment, I knew I was capable of suceeding, however my brain was holding me back! Then I stuck around and did some extra mobility.
After my workout I had 1 scoop of Progenex recovery protein powder in 6 oz. of vanilla unsweetend almond milk.
Lunch I had promised to take my boys to the mall...so I did the best I could at the food fair and ate a sirloin burger w/o the bun or condiments and a green salad. For dessert I had a black tea at David's tea, so yummy:)
Supper will be leftovers of lemon dill salmon, green beans roasted with rosemary and lemon & carrots with lemon butter and dill.
Thats what today looked like. I hope to take more pictures of my own food as I cook it.
